UCC is building on our strength as a leader in education and on our deep experience delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) by introducing two additional graduation pathways to complement the existing IB DP.

While the benefits of a broad liberal education remain, international research, the IB and UCC recognize the value of offering flexible, future-oriented and responsive pathways that centre choice, agency, wellbeing and real-world relevance.
Our vision is to inspire each boy to be his best self and to reflect the pluralism and promise of Canada. By offering additional graduation pathways, we expand the breadth and depth of opportunities for students to find and pursue their passions and take a step closer to realizing this vision.

Students entering Year 11 in September 2025 and after will have the opportunity to pursue one of three UCC Graduation Pathways:

These pathways are all rigorous, engaging and offer exciting opportunities for students to exercise agency and choice based on their unique areas of interest and plans for postsecondary. Graduates of the Diploma Programme Pathway and the Diploma Programme Systems Transformation Pathway will earn the IB Diploma and graduates of the Diploma Programme Courses Pathway will earn IB Course Certificates for the courses they complete. All of the pathways allow students to meet the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).

Graduates of all three pathways will leave UCC well-prepared for their postsecondary studies and lifelong success.
